College And University Transfer Programs
Many of our associate degree programs are accepted for transfer at most four-year colleges in the region. Please note that Behavioral Science is for students interested in anthropology, psychology, or sociology, Business Administration is for students interested in accounting, management, marketing, and general business majors and Communication Arts is for students interested in theater, journalism, or applied communications.

Certificate Career Programs:
From Accounting (Professional) to our Municipal Police Academy, a variety of medical programs and more, DCCC offers an array variety of certificates. They usually require a year or less of college experience.
Please note that students without a bachelor's degree (B.A.) may enroll in the Accounting (Professional) program; having a B.A. degree is required to sit for the CPA exam. Municipal Police Training and Plumbing Apprenticeship have special admissions procedures. An associate or bachelor's degree with at least 21 credits in approved general education courses is required for admissions to the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program. The Perioperative Nursing certificate requires that the student be a registered nurse (RN) prior to beginning the program.
