SMALL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS CENTER HOSTS
SMALL BUSINESS FUNDING WORKSHOP

MEDIA, Pa. – The Small Business Solutions Center at Delaware County Community College will host Funding Your Small Business in Troubled Times on Tuesday, August 3, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the College’s new STEM Center.

Co-sponsored by SCORE of Delaware and Chester counties and the Small Business Development Center at Widener University, the seminar will feature SCORE representatives, who will discuss conventional and unconventional methods for lending, and an official from the Small Business Administration (SBA), who will discuss programs offered by the agency.

In addition, a representative from the Philadelphia Development Partnership will speak specifically about the Small Business Administration’s Microlending Program, which offers loans from $500 to $35,000 to qualified borrowers, usually with little or no collateral needed. The Philadelphia Development Partnership is a SBA approved Microlender serving Philadelphia, Chester and Delaware counties.

Admission is free and a Continental breakfast will be served; however, seating is limited. Please pre-register at 610-723-1229.
