Join us for a discussion of the book Unheralded but Unbowed with the author Garland L. Thompson, Esq. Unheralded but Unbowed traces the history of African Americans in what we now call the "Knowledge Enterprise." But it also endeavors to "connect the dots" between the poorly understood work of Black scientists and engineers and the broad sweep of Black History, in which they are at once the products of the decades-long struggle of African Americans for an equal place at the table of America's benefits and actors playing critical roles in many of the advances.
